Fen and Truffle finally arrive at the troll’s territory. Before them they see an array of animal corpses littered around, this upsets Fen greatly as she sheds some tears.

Fen is very much a “Kill only when necessary and use every bit” sort of person; it’s how her society works. And Truffle is growling because she knows something ain’t right.
